The Map Suite Source Kit can be used with the Map Suite Desktop, Web, Silverlight and Services Edition products.

When you purchase the Map Suite Source Kit, you receive a site license. This means that any developers on your team, at one physical location, can utilize the source code for custom implementations. All other licensing terms and restrictions can be found by reviewing our Software License Agreement.

No. You are only allowed to share the source code with other members of your company's development team.

You will receive a Visual Studio Solution with all of the class files listed in the product documentation. Please see the product overview for a list of classes provided in the Map Suite Source Kit.

Each class within the Map Suite Source Kit has been renamed to Custom*.cs, so that once you add it to your solution, everything will still compile with no naming conflicts. This allows you to easily modify and extend the code while still being able to debug the code in a very straightforward fashion.

The Map Suite Source Kit is written entirely in C#. Future versions may also be made available in VB.NET. If you are interested in a VB.NET version of the Source Kit, please let us know or post your comments on our discussion forums.
