If you need to publish a desktop application that was developed with Map Suite desktop components, it's required to publish your application along with the Runtime License, otherwise, a map will be rendered with “Not Licensed for Run Time”. This guide will show you how to setup the runtime license.

A Runtime License can be generated by “Map Suite Product Center” which you can find from the package installation folder (…packages\ThinkGeo.MapSuite.ProductCenter.10.0.0\lib\net45). Please double click the ThinkGeo.MapSuite.ProductCenter.exe. Then, let’s switch to the WinForms tab as Figure 1 indicates.

Select the application that you want to publish. If you've activated or started trail for desktop. “Runtime License” section can be found on right side of Product Center. (See figure 2.)

Click on the Browse button and select your application which you want to publish.

“Save As” dialog will pop up after application selected. Click “Save” button to generate runtime license file(*.mapsuitelicense) on your disk.

Now the runtime license is ready for this application.
