A Runtime license is a license for allowing windows forms application running with Map Suite Desktop Winforms Components. One runtime license is binding to an app, the runtime license file will be generated in the same folder of the windows forms application. Without the Runtime license, the application cannot run and will crash when it launches.

Runtime License can be generated by “Map Suite Product Center” that you can find the “Map Suite Product Center” from package installation folder (…packages\ThinkGeo.MapSuite.ProductCenter.10.0.0\lib\net45). Please double click the ThinkGeo.MapSuite.ProductCenter.exe. Then let’s switch to the WinForms tab as Figure 1 indicates.

Select your product click “Runtime License Browse” button (See figure 2.) after active your product.

Select your application which you want to release.

“Save As” dialog will be pop up after select your application. Generate a runtime license file in your application folder (*.mapsuitelicense).

You can double click and run your application after the runtime license saved to your application folder.
