The Map Suite Geocoder “How Do I?” solution offers a series of useful how-to examples for using the Map Suite Geocoder component. The bundled solution comes with a small set of sample data from Chicago, IL and demonstrates geocoding, reverse geocoding, batch geocoding, use of fuzzy matching logic, getting the closest street number to a point, and much more. Full source code is included in both C# and VB.NET languages; simply select your preferred language to download the associated solution.
Please note that you will need an evaluation (or full version) of both Map Suite Geocoder and Map Suite Desktop Edition to build and run these samples.

The Geocoder Data Reducer is a utility that allows you to create a new smaller geocoder index for specific states in the United States. You simply specify the directory of ThinkGeo full Geocoder Index files, select the states you want to reduce it to, the output folder, and the utility will create the new reduced index. Depending on the state the process may take up to a couple of hours to process.
The Geocoder Data Generator is a utility that allows you to create your own Geocoding data index based on the shapefile you have. You just need specify the source shape file path, the output directory and required field. And then the utility will save the geocoding required data. It may take a while, depending the data selected.
NOTE: this feature just supported in Dev branch 9.0.533.0 or later.
